SPRING’S MOST WANTED: PASTELS

What is Spring 2018’s most wanted color??  Before we get into the answer to that question I wanted to briefly share a television series that completely captured my attention last week: Money Heist, or “La Casa de Papel” in Spanish.  Friends and family abroad had been raving about this international phenomenom for the last year so as soon as I heard that Season 2 became available on Netflix on April 9th, I decided to give it a try.  And … WOW!  I watched both seasons in a week, or less, haha!  Now I understand why it is Netflix’s most watched non-English-language series ever, and I can’t wait till Season 3!!!   But it does not come out until 2019, … uhh!!!  To sum it up: eight thieves take a large number of hostages and lock themselves inside the Royal Mint of Spain while a criminal mastermind known as “El Professor” manipulates the police to carry out his plan.  It has been translated to English for those that do not understand Spanish, so be sure to check it out!!  Next up I might try “Peaky Blinders” which a few friends recommended.

Alright, now back to pink pastel, haha, which is this season’s “IT” color, and one that I like to wear a lot during Spring.  If there is one Women’s Trousers / Blazers combination to buy right now it is definitely in this color.  Almost every clothing store is currently carrying a couple suits in pink for this season, so I went around and tried on several until I found this one from BCBG Max Azria.  Not only does it have a perfect fit, it is also made with high quality materials (as usual with this brand).  I LOVE that it is wearable from day to night – easily style it with a black silky top & black heels for a chic night-time ensemble.  What do you think of the look?

  1. Oh! I’m going to have to start watching Money Heist! I just started watching Peaky Blinders and also Shameless on Netflix and I’m hooked! (Peaky Blinders took about a half-season for me to get interested in, though.) And this look is fabulous! I love the colors and your accessories.
