Hello beautiful people! My flight to Paris / London has officially been booked!!! I will be there in 7 months hehe, I am super excited!!! Hopefully I will have the opportunity to attend London Fashion Week, since I will be there on the same exact days 🙂 I also have a cousin that is living in London, so that will be so fun too. I have been to London many times, just never during the month of September.
Anyway! Here is Burberry and a round-up of their latest trends. What could I say about Burberry that has not been said before?! I cherish every piece of clothing from Burberry that is in my closet, and have been creating my own collection over the years. Check out below the light-blue trench coat, I am in love! And how about that ivory polka-dot sheer mesh dress?! I would love that one!
Hey loves! With London Fashion Week taking place recently, I wanted to share with you a fashion designer that I learned about a few years ago while visiting in London. His name is Julien Macdonald, and he used to be Head Designer of Knitwear at Chanel, back in the late 1990s. Years later he worked as a creative designer at Givenchy where he focused on haute couture.
I am in love with his glamorous dresses, that I’d love to one day wear! Julien Macdonald is definitely the king of glamour. Take a look below at a few of my favorites that were showcased in LFW.
Modern and contemporary, Fyodor Golan knows how to brighten up the catwalk at London Fashion Week. Their unique approach to fashion is trendy, and what I loved the most are the pieces that accentuate the woman’s silhouette. Take a look below! which is your favorite?
Happy Monday! Hope that you enjoyed each designer that I shared with you last week! Below I have rounded up four more fashion labels from the 18th Edition of Barcelona Fashion Week that I thought had creative and attractive look-books. And with today’s post I am concluding my posts on Spanish & Catalan designers that showcased their SS17 collections earlier this month in Barcelona. I also hope that you enjoyed learning about the Spanish fashion industry. Catalonia and the city of Barcelona have a long tradition in the textile industry, and my appreciation for it began while I was pursuing my graduate studies in the city. I quickly fell in love with the culture, the food, the warm atmosphere, and the fashion scene.. Take a look below, and let me know your thoughts!

Custo Barcelona is an iconic fashion label that gained worldwide recognition for its unique mix of colorful graphics and prints. Custo Barcelona unveils its collections each season at New York Fashion Week. This is a brand that never ceases to impress me, particularly because of its constant creativity and innovation. For SS17 there are a lot of sheer fabrics, flowing dresses, transparencies, and a huge variety of textures that adorn each outfit.
For those of you not yet familiar with the brand, it was founded in Barcelona, Spain in the 80s, and consolidated as a brand in the 90s. Aside from the women’s collection, the label also carries a men’s line, a kid’s line, as well as accessories and shoes. Take a look at Custo Barcelona’s SS17 lookbook, my top four outfits are right below (click on each to see an enlarged version).
Come back tomorrow, as I will be sharing with you yet another of my favorite Spanish designers!!

Here are my favorite looks from Sita Murt’s SS17 collection! Sita Murt was a Catalan fashion designer that created a fashion label focused on soft and sensual fabrics. Her SS17 lookbook was showcased last night during the second day of Barcelona Fashion Week. As usual there were a variety of textured fabrics that included knit, thin crepe cotton, and linen. The predominant colors were indigo blue, water blue, turmeric ochre, goji red and a citric touch which overruns our most natural tones as white, ecru and linen. Overall every outfit looked relaxed, delicate and with an emphasis placed on providing comfort for the modern woman. Enjoy!
Five words: Barcelona Fashion Week is here! I am so excited!! This is my fourth year sharing with you my appreciation for Spanish & Catalan designers, and this entire week I will be featuring one or two designers per day. I am starting with Justicia Ruano who showcased her latest Spring – Summer collection today during the first day of the 18th Edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion. The event took place at INEFC in Barcelona. Justicia Ruano is easily one of my favorites, her creations are luxurious, feminine and gorgeous!! Each of her pieces are quite sophisticated yet modern at the same time. By mixing textures, materials and colors she creates extravagant looks. She successfully reinvents contemporary luxury year after year, and never disappoints me. Take a look below!
Primavera – Verano 2017
During the fourth day of 080 Barcelona Fashion, the cool duo that is Menchen Tomas introduced its “Notariat 11 Collection.” (The name makes reference to the street address where they first established their studio-workshop back in 1995, in El Raval neighborhood in Barcelona, Spain). Take a look below at their Fall outfits options… I love how much ‘velvet’ I am seeing!
MENCHEN TOMAS Otoño-Invierno 2016/17
