SOUTH BEACH WINE & FOOD FESTIVAL
WINE AND FOOD LOVERS: I dedicate this post to you! Anyone planning a trip to Miami this month?? I am about to give you a good reason to come visit us…
Presented by the Miami City Ballet at the Adrienne Arsh Center
Saturday, December 17 – Saturday, December 24, 2016
Only 15 Days till Christmas!!! I always love when the Holiday Season is here because it bring us tons of holiday lights and decor, Christmas songs on the radio, cooler temperatures, peppermint everything, and fun local events like George Balanchine’s ‘The Nutcraker.’ This show is the most enchanting holiday treat for the entire family, it’s a spectacular ballet that I enjoy each time that I see it. The scenery is magnificent, the costumes are gorgeous, and Tchaikovsky’s music is magical!
The Nutcracker performance is presented by the Miami City Ballet at the Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. The Arsht Center has truly transformed Miami’s culture scene. It is currently celebrating it’s tenth season, and it showcases around 300 hundred performances throughout the year! These are organized into series: Broadway in Miami, Jazz Roots, the Masterworks Season, Miami Made Festival, and the Summer Season, among others. The center is beautiful inside and out, and it was designed by world-renowned architect Cesar Pelli of Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects.
Below you will find all the information that you need for ‘The Nutcraker’: dates and times, duration, and ticket prices that start as low as $ 25.00. If you are in Miami, I suggest you enjoy The Nutcraker with friends, your family or on a date, and then let me know if you liked it! ** Also, I have included the basic information for the West Palm Beach location. Enjoy!
SCHEDULE: Saturday, December 17 – 2:00 PM

KRAKOW MAIN SQUARE
The only coca-cola bottle that was written in English, and some chocolate bar… It was 8 AM and I was literally falling asleep from all the travelling, walking, etc, so needed a bit of caffeine to keep my eyes open another ful day…
Main Square, Krakow
Hi! Just landed in Poland! The city of Krakow captured my heart last year, so when a second opportunity for another pilgrimage to Poland came up, I had to say “Yes”! This trip will be similar, but I am super excited that this time I will visit the village of Zembrzyce, located in southern Poland, and will stay there for about a week. The other cities that I will visit are: Wadowice, and Czestochowa. The weather is currently a little colder than I expected! And it is also raining quite a bit, but no rain will stop me from enjoying!
The photos that I am sharing on this post are of the Main Square in the city of Krakow. The Main Square is a rectangular space surrounded by historic palaces, buildings, restaurants, shops and churches. Here you will find the famous Market Place (it is huge! and has lots of Polish products). Definitely walk inside of it and purchase amber products (I found a pair of beautiful earrings!). Mostly everyone who visits Poland brings back a piece of amber jewelry to keep or give as a gift. We had a delicious dinner at Restauracja Szara Kazimierz (highly recommend it / sit outside).
Hello from the Big Apple! I decided to take a week off my hectic work schedule and come up to visit my brother, I also have many friends that are here, AND the weather is not too cold. It all worked out so great!!
Central Park – how gorgeous is this park!! I ate belgian waffles right outside the entrance of the park. And walked it with a friend.
I’ve been making the MOST of this week – for once a week just for myself (this never happens!).
And I’ve been having dinner twice per night, an early dinner with friends and then another with my brother when he gets out of work. Great way to taste NYC’s restaurants 😉
Below are the places that I ate at, and loved:
- Catch Restaurant (dinner – amazing!)
- Eataly (lunch)
- Jack’s Wife Freda (dinner)
- Bergdorf Goodman 7th floor (lunch)
- Ippudo (dinner)
- Chelsea Market Los Tacos (lunch)
- Italian Restaurant (lunch)
Although I have been to New York City before, I had never noticed the amount of tulips there are this time of year. Flower shops are full of tulips, Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village has tons as well. I am just taking it all in – and loving it!!!
My life took an unexpected turn recently, yet I am convinced that it is a positive one, and with time it will show me that too. This trip is one that I had scheduled a while ago yet I could not have timed it better. As I always love to say, life is full of positive surprises 😉
Hope you are having a wonderful day!
