080 Barcelona Spring – Summer 2016 officially began today! MANGO, the internationally known Spanish fashion brand, opened up fashion week in Barcelona with a new collection inspired in the 60s and 70s. Rocker style pieces compose their new collection, while maintaining an elegant black & white look. There was also a ton of fringe. Fringe is definitely coming back. I absolutely loved every outfit!
I have been wearing MANGO for over a decade! MANGO has always been one of my favorite brands, and during the years that I lived in Barcelona, I literally visited their store every single week. My wardrobe was MANGO from my head to my toes! One aspect that I absolutely love about their clothes is that it flows, and their pieces are light and timeless. Check out my favorite looks for next Spring!
080 BARCELONA Fashion Week started today!!! During the next few days Spanish designers will be showcasing their latest creations for Fall / Winter 15 on the runway. I have been wearing the brand MANGO for years. I still have my closet full of MANGO pieces that I bought when I lived in Barcelona!!! MANGO’s collections are always cool, and have accessible prices. There is a MANGO Outlet in Barcelona that I went to at least once a month as well. Oh how I miss it!
MANGO’s F/W’15 Collection is trendy, stylish and hippie. I noticed a lot of suede, lace, and long boho chic dresses and skirts. People that love feminine and bohemian outfits will love this collection. Here are my top six outfit combinations.
Mango’s Spring Summer collection was inspired in the 70s looks. It included lots of Bermuda shorts, long blazers, kaftans and midi-skirts used for creating a flirty yet comfortable look. The Mango woman is all about elegant ease for the upcoming season, as is usual with this clothing brand. Check out the outfits in the lookbook below.
My coverage of the 13th Edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion week begins today!!! This is truly one of my favorite fashion weeks in the world. My love for Spanish & Catalan designers began back in 2008 when I moved to Barcelona to pursue my graduate degree (for those just tuning in). And also, one of my grandparents is from the region of Galicia, in northern Spain, so I am always appreciative of all things Spanish.
MANGO opened up today with a collection full of minimalist creations. This Spanish brand usually values simplicity and comfort above all else. Khaki, faded denim and shades of white were clearly at the center of MANGO’s look book for the next autumn season. MANGO has once again reduced it right down to the essentials. A few of their relaxed and trendy looks are below!
Mango definitely Rocked It Up for its new fall/winter 2013 collection, presented at 080 Barcelona Fashion this week! I am a huge MANGO fan, and I loved this edgy collection influenced by the grunge and rock ‘n roll runway fads. The color black reigns supreme, together with leather jackets, structured capes and beat-up jeans. For everyday use, the traditional motifs of the male wardrobe, such as pinstripe, apply to oversized silhouettes that are achieved by overlapping layers.
