Fall Foliage in Central Park
It’s that time of year when Central Park’s trees turn from green to golden, and the park becomes the most picturesque it will be all year!
On Saturday, we headed over to Central Park despite the weather forecast to catch a glimpse of the magic of this season.
We got lucky, and our umbrellas stayed in the basket the entire time we were there!

Best Fall Photo Spots
If you are looking for photo spots for family photos or special occasion photos, walk over to Bow Bridge, a masterpiece of Victorian-era design, and renowned as one of the most romantic bridges in the world.
You might recognize the bridge as it was featured in Spider-Man 3, Made of Honor, Enchanted, Autumn in New York, Keeping the Faith, and other movies or TV shows.
When we got engaged, a few years ago, we also did our engagement photos in Central Park, around Bethesda Terrace and The Mall & Literary Walk, but towards the end of November, so it was freezing!
I suggest using the bridge as the backdrop, with the golden trees behind it, and also doing close-up shots on the bridge itself.
Location
To find Bow Bridge, I suggest entering the park via E 72nd Street and then walking towards Bethesda Terrace. Once you spot the fountain, don’t go down the stairs; continue towards the left, and the bridge will be on the right side.
Foliage Tracker
Central Park has an arborist-approved foliage tracker to help you catch peak foliage in Central Park! Be sure to see it here!
