JEANS: Armani Exchange | SHOES: Fergie
BAG: Ferragamo | LIPSTICK: Max Factor Maroon Dust
Hello loves! I put together this total black look – with a stunning pair of metallic pumps full of spikes and studs and matched it with a beautiful open-shoulder top!
Whenever you want a pair of shoes to stand out, the best idea is to keep the rest of the outfit simple and monochrome. This super edgy look is perfect for a date night or a night out with girlfriends.
I feel like a superstar each time I wear these shoes, and the best part is that you can match them with almost anything in your closet! I am doing a post soon with the same shoes but a completely different look. Stay tuned! 😉

I hope that everyone is having a safe & happy Labor Day Weekend! As for me, the timing has been perfect, a three-day-weekend is exactly what I needed to catch up on work and unpack my entire home. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have read that I moved to a new home, and it is safe to say that everything is now upside down! Packing it all up was a fantastic work-out and a great substitute for my usual gym classes! My goal is to unpack my boxes by Tuesday, we will see… 😉
Today I am sharing a crochet lace & denim style outfit that I love. A feminine, edgy and comfortable casual look. Before I forget, these pretty Marc Fisher Ballad Lace Up Sandals are on major SALE this weekend. Use code MFLD30 for an extra 30% off!! The sandals also come in red, black, and multi-color. The silhouette is sleek and sophisticated, and can be worn with a dress, a skirt, and jeans (almost everything in your closet). They are super comfy also (a big plus!). The distressed boyfriend jeans that I am wearing, are a girl’s best friend!! They are super light-weight, and even though I have washed them over 20 times, they still look great.
Finally, if you love bell-sleeve blouses as much as I do (it is such a cute trend isn’t it?!), take a look at the 15 ivory / white blouses linked below – all from the same store where I got mine.
Hope you like this easy & pretty outfit. And enjoy the rest of the long weekend!!
Lots of love!

The secret to really chic style isn’t really a secret: it comes down to owning a few great pieces that you can wear over and over, and that look stylish despite whatever ‘trend’ is going on. All of that applies to your casual wear, and your office wear as well. Yes, you may be at work, but the inner fashionista in you does not need to suffer. 😉
Today I am sharing two brand-new pieces that I recently found at H&M. Each is under $ 40.00!! First of all, take a look at these Black Pants, they are slimmer, ankle-cut trousers that’ll show you’re with it, even at the office. A great alternative to the typical suit pant, they fit loosely, and are super comfortable – I love them! You can easily match them with a top of any single color.
And now let’s see the Chiffon Blouse, it has a ruffled collar with ties at the front and a rounded hem. I love the metallic pattern, so beautiful for any day of the week when you do not want to see another button-down shirt again! (That happens to me every week…) Stick to blouses like this one, you can re-style them with a pencil skirt, and it’ll feel infinitely more stylish and pulled together than a button-down.
I completed my look with a basic black blazer – it adds a fashionable edge to any office outfit. [Chiffon blouse in white, here]. And finally, my heels are from Donald J. Pliner, I linked the three above because they happen to be on sale (the first two are about 60% off)!!! Thanks for reading, lots of love.

Who is ready to master the cat eye? Max Factor is making it super easy to create this classic glamour look! This brand has been synonymous with Old Hollywood glamour for the last century….
On August 1st, Max Factor released a Limited Edition Capsule Collection that includes all the essentials you need to create the MOST DIVINE cat eye look!
The cat eye is ideal for a date-night, or any time that you want a stunning look that makes your eyes stand out. I am happy that this Iconic Make Up Brand is making a glamorous return to the U.S. During my years spent studying abroad, Max Factor was the cosmetics brand that I purchased and wore on a daily basis. I missed it! As soon as I tried on the eyeliner, I showed my sister who wears the cat eye e-v-e-r-y single day! We both love the unique tip of the liner, it makes it a lot easier to draw the wing of the cat eye.
(a) Wing it out: use the liquid eyeliner to create the tail of the wing (draw a line from the outer corner of your eye up at an angle),
(b) Run the liner across your top lash line, starting at the middle,
(c) Connect the line from the inside corner of the eye to the middle, keeping this part of the line very thin,
(d) Clean up any imperfection with a cotton swab with make-up remover,
(e) Apply a couple coats of mascara.
The two products that you need:
– Max Factor Masterpiece High Precision Liquid Eyeliner
– Max Factor Masterpiece High Volume Mascara
For pout perfection: the Capsule Collection includes two lipsticks: Colour Elixir Lipstick in Maroon Dust and in Simply Nude, I am wearing the first one! Because the cat eye is a very bold look, I like to keep my lips as neutral as possible. All four products are available at your nearest drugstore – for a limited time only. Get your hands on at least one of each! 😉

Thanks Max Factor for making this post possible.

To me, being a Girl Boss is about being self-assured, confident, ambitious and independent, it’s not necessarily about being a boss to others, I see it more about being the boss of your own life. And while there is no strict formula to dressing as a powerful woman, nothing says #GirlBoss like black leather.
My personal approach to the girl boss style is a mix of leather and lace. There’s something about mixing an edgy skirt with a feminine fabric that totally gets me into Girl Boss character. One of my suggestions is to invest in a faux-leather skirt that fits you like a glove – they are fashionable, trendy, and wearable. If you have no idea where to find one, start at Guess, I love how they fit! and their prices are great.
If you are a gal that prefers the more traditional look, here are three easy tips for styling outfits when you need to look professional:
(1) Choose staple items: these are those timeless classics that never go out of style. For the most part, your staples are going to be your solid colors. You really can’t go wrong when you buy clothing items in black, white, beige, navy, or grey. Keep in mind that prints come and go but those colors will match with almost anything. Every girl boss should own: a black pencil skirt, grey or black pleated pants, and white or black blouses (at a minimum).
(2) Accessories: To Add or Not to Add: these can either make or break an outfit like this, so choose wisely. I prefer clean looks so I stay away from accessories most of the time, except maybe earrings. When it comes to looking professional, less is always more.
(3) No need to be perfect, just be polished: this includes nice hair, a good skin care regimen, and a bit of make-up. A true girl boss knows how to take care of herself from top to bottom. Make it a point to dress well and look put-together at all times.
I believe in wearing what makes you feel like a boss! Always be authentic to who you are, so that you can look and feel comfortable everywhere you go. 😉 Have a wonderful weekend, lots of love!

HAT / TOP / JEANS / WEDGES / SUNGLASSES / LIPSTICK
Hey ladies! There are floppy hats, felt hats, fedora hats, boater hats, straw hats and many others … which should you buy!? The BEST part about hats is that you can wear them all year round. For example, a basic floppy hat like mine can be worn during all four seasons. Hats are one of my favorite accessories, they add a ton of personality, can sharpen your appearance, and are a great final touch to many outfits. Many friends tell me that they cannot find a hat that fits them (I used to think that way too!), but the secret is finding one that is flattering for your face shape. Also, the size of the hat matters, if you want to look chic then it is always best to find one that is proportionate to your face, head and body.
If you are one of those persons that has completely given up on hats, it’s time to leave that thought in the past and jump on the hat wagon with me! Let’s begin!!!
There are 4 main face shapes: (1) Round, (2) Square, (3) Heart, and (4) Oval.
You need to determine your face shape by paying attention to the following: the length versus the width of your face, the widest part of your face, and the shape of your jawline. Grab a mirror and take a look at those three things.
So, Yes! You can wear a hat. In my opinion there are two types of hats that you really can’t go wrong with: (a) the floppy hat, that I am wearing here, and (b) the traditional Panama style hat. The first one is ultra feminine, and the second one is perfect for a chic look…
I love creating these posts with styling tips, and always get awesome feedback on them. I hope that this post inspires you to find a hat that looks great on you!! 🙂
Have a wonderful week! Lots of love…
P.S.: Here is another floral Off The Shoulder Blouse (from the same brand), that will look great with a black floppy one!! Any floral top with a black background will match perfectly because it will pick up the color of the hat, here is another one.

Here is a summer work outfit that I am loving so much! I am continuously on the hunt for business casual pieces that I can wear to work while looking lovely, feminine and comfortable. And I also try to find items that can be worn after work to either a Happy-Hour or a networking event that I may have that day. If you are a 9 to 5 girl that wears the usual black / grey / navy outfits why not try an outfit that brightens up the work space a little during the summer months? There is something about this Crochet Overlay Skirt that is so lady-like and feminine, especially when paired with a pastel top.
To create this look I wanted to match the bottom to a top with a similar shade of orange / red. With my coral blouse it looked great, so it was a perfect match. A nude or white color top would totally work with this skirt too! Then I had two options: either a black or a white blazer, and both looked good but I decided to go with white – and loved it.
If you wear pencil skirts as much as I do, you will love this one, and considering the price of it – it is a total bargain! Even if you are not a 9 to 5 working gal, you can wear this versatile skirt during the weekend with nude heels and a silky white top.
Finally, if you like coral tops and would like ideas on how to style them, take a look at how I have previously styled mine with floral trousers (here) or with a mini-skirt (here)! xox.
