Today I am sharing my personal experience with Urban Decay products. I am all for trying new make-up, so when a friend of mine introduced me to a few Urban Decay products I started trying them immediately. Because I currently have a 9 to 5 office job (that requires meeting with clients on a weekly basis!), I cannot be retouching my make-up every 5 minutes, I need products that last till the end of the day and do not run off. This is why I love the 24/7 glide-on eye pencils the most! These eye pencils last until bedtime!
Another product that I found very useful is the All-Nighter setting spray. It is meant to be the last step in your make-up routine, to ensure that the make-up on your entire face stays on. I like that it is very lightweight and that it prevents my make-up from melting off. Regarding eyeliners, I always prefer brown over black (for my skin tone), unless I am doing smokey eyes, or a dramatic/intense look for a night out. The “rockstar” eye pencil color is a darkish shiny brown, exactly what I like.
The Urban Decay eyeshadow palettes are amazing! For everyday use, I prefer the Glinda palette, because the shades are lighter than the Theodora palette. I always put on the eyeshadow primer first, to ensure the color stays put as well. The Big Faty Black Mascara gives my eyelashes tons of volume. By the way, I always prefer regular mascara over waterproof mascara as I personally find the latter is often difficult to fully remove, and I do not like leaving make-up residue on my eyelashes.
(FYI: Urban Decay is a cruelty-free brand that does not test its products on animals).
