Every time I wear a bralette that shows a little, I receive messages regarding how pretty it looks with the outfit, or questions regarding where it is from … Honestly, I love to wear them for two reasons (1) their comfort (I prefer them over a bra), and (2) the visual aspect – if it has a little lace – I love it. Now during the summer, we are not wearing many layers so it is easier to show them off under our summer looks.
Today I will show you three ways to introduce bralettes into your summer looks. I have teamed up with Kohl’s who offers a huge selection of them! Keep reading to see my favorite ways of wearing the

Nowadays there is such a variety of bralettes, they crisscross in the back, or have two straps, come with underwire or not, and with lace or no lace… Personally, I like them with lace, and no underwire. Because they are lighter and do not feel tight, so these are the most comfortable option for my needs. But you know that you gotta try all the styles first (like I did) to see which one feels the best to you!
– UNDERNEATH A SHEER TOP –
Of course this option is the least risky (with regards to styling it), and also it is the most conservative because we are not showing it off. This option is used a lot with sheer blouses, but I like it a lot and prefer how shirts that are a little translucent look with a bralette than a regular bra. It also looks very delicate, since often you can notice there is lace underneath the top. I wanted to show you this way so you keep it in mind for the see-through tops you own! – FOR AN ELEGANT NIGHT OUT –
If you are like me and love bralettes then you can try to wear it with a shirt with an open neckline. And if you love risk-attractive looks, then wear it underneath a suit without any blouse. If I am honest, this is my favorite way! The option without a blouse is fantastic for the nighttime. Elegant, sleek and sexy – the ultimate combination. Also, this particular style of bralette with a wide lace strap is the one that I wear with almost every shirt that is open in the front (like this black one) because then the lace details can be seen the most. – FOR A CASUAL SUMMER LOOK –
Bralettes can easily be worn with any basic summer look, to add personality to any outfit. For this look I chose a bralette with an asphalt gray tone because I wanted it to match my paper bag striped shorts. I could’ve styled this outfit with a white bralette, but doesn’t it look more fun this way? I love it! This one has a plunge neckline, a floral pattern, and a scalloped trim.
