Helloooo everyone! How was your weekend??? Since 2018 started, I’ve been having 6 AM to 11 PM work days, quite hectic for sure. Last Thursday I spent around 17 hours filming + shooting for a special project that I will share very soon 🙂 The only break that we took was for a quick lunch (ceviche, by the way!), and then I requested another short break to go feed my pups! I like to be responsible with their needs and their schedule, since it is not their fault that their mama is working long hours!
Today I wanted to talk with you guys about colored winter coats… how many of you has a red coat in their closet?!? You don’t?? Then what are you waiting for?! Gotta spice it up my loves!! Red is, and has always been my favorite color, plus I love how this color is BOLD, BRIGHT, and UNAPOLOGETIC. You can easily throw on a red coat when you are on your way to work, during the weekends, and at night. Here is my favorite way to style a red coat: with navy + white, for a classic and timeless look.
Two colors that go super well with red are navy and white, so grab any pair of navy pants, then throw on a white sweater or blouse on top … and you are ready to walk out the door. I happen to have lots of striped tops, so opted for stripes this time.
And how about these lace pants, I love them!! They are my current go-to culottes, I wear them at least once a week, either to work, or for my weekly dinners with girlfriends. I linked the pants below, but sizes are flying because they are around 60-70% off, so if you like them, grab them now!! They fit perfectly true to size, and I am wearing them in an XS for reference.
Just remember, when adding a bold red coat, keep the rest of the tones a bit more muted – that’s it.
Take a look at the 4 red coats that I linked below (my fave is the one with ruffle sleeves)!!
Hope today’s post inspires you to infuse a pop of red into your winter looks.
Talk soon, have a great new week! Lots of love! xo, Florencia

¡Mucho amor! xo, Florencia
OUTFIT DETAILS:
Happy Monday! Another week, and I am sharing another white crochet dress! My collection of white and ivory dresses keeps expanding… Do you remember the other crochet dress that I shared two months ago? It had crochet on the neckline – you can see it here. Which of the two dresses do you like more? The other one also had the cold-shoulder style, and it was loose not fitted.
White or ivory dresses feel so fresh, especially during the summer season. This one that I am sharing today features a front crochet lace, a cutout waist (love this delicate detail), and it zips in the back. I also love the lace trim that shows at the bottom. It is quite an elegant dress at a great price. And did you notice the floral crossbody bag? This is a recent find, it is too cute!
Hope your week starts well!

Hope everyone enjoyed the weekend! We were supposed to get the first cold front of the season yesterday – but not sure why it did not arrive! I had a fun weekend with friends who came to visit Miami from Spain and Puerto Rico, so that meant a lot of eating out. One of them I had not seen for years, we had attended university together in Spain, studied for tons of exams together, and toured around the city during the weekends, so imagine how wonderful it was to catch up seven years later!!
Anyway, in today’s post I am sharing an outfit combination that I love for this time of the year. The Belted Faux Suede Coat is so much more than a basic coat – it’s a statement. When I think of suede I think of glamour (or an understated glamour), that blends with any outfit AND makes it look sophisticated. Any brown suede coat, skirt, dress or boot is everyday-chic, effortless and feminine with a twist of sexy.
Below you can see a photo I found of Amal Clooney a couple minutes before publishing this post! I was surprised of how similar the outfit was to mine, except that she is wearing heels. The fabric of her dress is also a type of lace, and her suede coat has a belt around the waist as well. Love it!!

An Everyday Floral Lace Shift Dress
This is one pink crochet dress that I wear probably once a month, I have gotten more use out of it than I anticipated! (to work, to multiple events & to parties). I am wearing a size “small” and it fits pretty comfortably. This one usually goes out of stock quickly, and then it is brought back in a similar soft color. At the moment it is also available in white with short sleeves – this is perfect since the Summer is about to start! 🙂 Yet it does not matter what color you get it in, it is a beautiful & unique dress! This outfit will keep you looking chic all day long. Thanks for reading, lots of love!

I love lace, and I love this dress! It is the prettiest off-white color and it fits great. The dress that I am sharing today is Express’ Baroque Lace Dress in the color ivory. This style of dress you can wear everywhere, I have worn it to a girl friend’s baby shower, to a big holiday dinner & a few times even to work. If you pair a light colored lace dress with a black blazer / jacket and black pumps you have a super chic outfit for the office. You can also pair a lace dress with nude shoes / purse, or add a pop of color and match it with red heels. Below you will find that I linked a few beautiful lace dresses!!! I’d love to get all three! (I was not able to find a direct link to mine – that I purchased a few months ago). Have a wonderful weekend, xo.
