Would you wear an all-metallic outfit?! The Metallic Trend has returned with full force in 2018, and I totally dig the futuristic vibes of a silver + silver combination. I am super obsessed with this look so I wore it all day a couple of days ago. The outfit had me feeling like the shining star that we all are, haha. The blouse and the pants can be worn separately though – I would mix each piece with either black or white – since silver adds a touch of glam to almost any outfit!
Next time I will wear the top tucked inside palazzo pants in black or white (like the image below). And with regards to the pants, I already tried them on with a silky black cami and it looks fab!! I’d love to know what you guys think of my super futuristic look! <3

METALLIC OUTFIT IDEA
Hello babes! Today I wanted to share a trend that is always popular – metallics. Sure, we often consider wearing shiny tops for New Year’s Eve or a fancy gala, but I love to wear them in any way, shape, or form… all year round. And when I do, I try to keep the look super sophisticated (which can be tricky when it comes to shiny or sparkly pieces). If you are unsure of how to wear them, below you will find the easiest tips. 😉
HOW TO WEAR THEM
- Pair with clean-lined casual pieces – preferably white or neutral. I tend to buy metallic tops (not bottoms) because it is always easy to find a basic pair of white or black pants to style the top with.
- Stay away from color, to maintain a weightless look.
- Wear with a different texture to avoid looking too flashy! Just like I did above, I mixed my pleated metallic cami with a cotton fitted mini skirt. It’s currently on sale for about $29!
- Try to not overaccessorize! The metallic top, bottom, or dress is already a statement in and of itself, so it is best if you keep the accessories subtle.
- A metallic little handbag can go a long way! If you still do not feel comfortable enough to pull off the metallic clothing trend, you can start by adding a hint of glitter to your outfit with a metallic handbag. To give you some ideas, I linked beautiful mini metallic bags below!
Next time I will wear my metallic top for a night out, I already tried it and it looks great with black skinny jeans, black wide-leg pants, and over a black fitted skirt.
