…Red, White, and Blue Bathing Suits
Happy Thursday!! Even though this 4th of July will be a little different, we can still wear a red, white and blue bathing suits! Last year we spent the holiday with my fiancé’s family, his aunt did a big cookout at her home, and many of his aunts, uncles and cousins visited during the day. She has a pretty cool set-up outside by the pool, with a tiki bar, outside bar and TV!
This year we will quarantine ourselves, grill outside on the terrace around sunset, and try to get ahead on some of our wedding planning tasks (he needs a tux!).
I am obsessed with the details on this bathing suit! I ordered this one-piece swimsuit to wear on 4th of July, as well as a basic straw hat to protect my face from the sun!
I feel that the style of the red bathing suit is pretty classic and timeless, so I know that I will be wearing it in the future.
Hope you stay safe this 4th of July holiday…

MIAMI SWIM WEEK 2019
What a week! Just wrapped up Swim Week 2019! Miami Swim Week showcased to the world what swimwear brands have in store for Resort 2020 collections.
This was my fourth year attending, and I must note that it just keeps getting bigger and better. From the runway shows to the daytime events with brands or agencies, it’s amazing to see the phenomenal evolution and organization of it all.
Because we have summer year-round, swimsuits are essential! That is why I absolutely love being introduced to new designs every year. High waists, see-through suits, extreme cutouts, exotic animal prints, deep V-cuts, high-leg bottoms, and bandeau tops – those are the biggest trends spotted at Miami Swim Week 2019. In other words… a lot of skin.
This year’s biggest trend: inclusivity!
A few brands focused on making a point of including women of all sizes, shapes, ages, and colors on their runways. Sports Illustrated has been doing this for many years, and a few brands are following along, like Monday Swimwear. Other brands focused on placing the environment as a top priority by using plant-based fabrics and eco-friendly pieces!
