I’ve been waiting to say: we’re having a baby! We could not be more excited, and I’m happy to fill you all in.
The baby is due during the first week of April, and I am 17 weeks today. It was not easy; it took us almost three years and a major surgery.
We found out in August, the day after I returned from Florida. I took a pregnancy test in the morning while my husband was still sleeping, and told him immediately after. For the next few days, it felt completely UNREAL.
My first trimester was pretty rough, but it has gotten better. I’ve been holding my breath in between appointments, and last week we had the first anatomy exam.
I’ll be sharing an overview of my first trimester next week and have lots to say, but I’d love to hear if there’s anything you’d like to know!
