Beauty | L’Occitane en Provence
Ladies, who else keeps hand cream in every room in the house and inside every purse? I even keep one in my car and another one at work! I have suffered from dry hands for as long as I can remember, and because of that, I am constantly moisturizing my hands (multiple times a day).
Today I am sharing my personal opinion on this brand of skin care products. I first experienced products from L’Occitane en Provence a few years ago when a girlfriend gave me a huge gift set for my birthday. What a fantastic gift it was. What I love about L’Occitane products is that the hand cremes are not too light – so you do not need to re-apply them every 5 minutes. (I cannot stand those).
For those of you that suffer from extreme hand dryness, I highly recommend their “Dry Skin Hand Creme.” If you like to moisturize your entire body after you shower (like I do), then I recommend “Shea Butter Ultra Rich Comforting Creme.” It is pretty thick, and when I use it daily I truly feel that I am moisturizing my body.
The products smell wonderful as well, and the lovely smell lasts… The shower gel leaves me smelling like almond oil for the entire day. I have linked four of my favorite products from this brand. Check them out!

Skin Care with La Foret Cosmetics
Hi loves! Today I am sharing a new skincare product that I got to try last week: La Forêt Daytime Intensive Skin Revitalizer. I always welcome skin care products, especially face or hand moisturizers. The two reasons for that are that I have very dry hands, and because I like to moisturize my face once daily. A friend of mine was in town for a couple of days and brought me a product from one of the cosmetics companies that he works for. So happy!
This moisturizer was created for delicate skin (perfect!), and it serves as an intensive therapy to repair your dry skin. I have been using it on my face & neck area, and I love that it feels very smooth, light, and velvety. Although the SPF is not high (it is 8 and the typical is 15), it’s better than products that have none. I try to always protect my skin from the sun. You can check out more of their products at www.LaForetCosmetics.com.

Beauty | AHAVA | SKIN CARE
Today I am sharing a few of the skin care products that I purchased a couple of months ago when I visited Israel. While in Israel, we visited the Dead Sea Region(*), and nearby I found a store (overlooking the Dead Sea shores) that sold an infinite amount of AHAVA creams. I decided to bring a few of these cremes back with me. While I had heard of AHAVA products before, this was my first time purchasing them.
AHAVA creams are made with active dead sea minerals. These minerals are found in the Dead Sea are supposed to rejuvenate your skin. They are paraben free, allergy tested, free of animal testing, produced without petroleum, and approved for sensitive skin. Wish I had purchased more!
(*) The Dead Sea is a salt lake bordered by Jordan to the east, and Israel and the West Bank to the west. Its surface is 1,407 feet below sea level (429 meters). The Dead Sea has become a location for health research due to the mineral content of the water seems to have positive effects on health.

Happy Friday ladies! Today I wanted to share a few basic skin care products that I use on a daily basis. Two of these are Cetaphil products that I have been using for over a decade. Prior to using make-up remover to take off my lip-stick, eye-shadow, foundation, etc, I like to wash my face with warm water and Cetaphil’s Gentle Skin Cleanser. I love that it feels very soft for my skin. After I wash my face, I remove all excess eye make-up with Neutrogena’s Oil Free Make-Up remover. This remover is specifically made for sensitive eyes (this is very important!).
With regards to how I take care of my under eye area, I use La Roche-Posay’s Redermic Eye [C]. This cream helps reduce the look of deep wrinkles and also reinforce the skin’s support structure (I use this once daily). It is not very cheap but you can conveniently purchase it at most drugstores. From the brand La Roche-Posay I also love the Thermal Water, it soothes and softens the skin that has been irritated by the sun, while protecting against skin aging.
What about you? What products are included in your daily skin care routine? If you have yet to create a routine, I suggest you start with these, I know you will enjoy them!
