My Honest Review of the London Fog Trench Coat

Over the last few years, I’ve purchased several trench coats, which I’ve mostly worn during my travels abroad. When I lived in Miami, trench coats were not necessary, but now that I live in New York, I find myself reaching for one during Spring and Fall.
I was looking for a timeless trench coat that would hold up over the years and that had a reasonable price tag. After checking out various brands, I decided on this London Fog’s Double-Breasted Hooded Trench Coat. I am really happy with it, so today, I wanted to share my review of this classic coat, which is one of the most versatile pieces I own.
About London Fog
Here is a bit of information about the London Fog brand. The Londontown Clothing Company was founded in 1923. During WWII, the company was known for making waterproof coats for the United States Navy.
London Fog introduced coats for women in the 1950s and went public in the 1960s. A decade later, two-thirds of all raincoats sold in the U.S. were London Fog, and soon after, London Fog became the world’s largest outerwear manufacturer.
Is London Fog a good brand?
Over the last 100 years, London Fog has become a premier global lifestyle brand. Today, products manufactured by London Fog include trench coats, wool-blend overcoats, peacoats, jackets, luggage, duffle bags, under-seater bags, cabin bags, and umbrellas. London Fog has been ranked as one of the most recognized brands of outerwear in the United States.
My Review of the London Fog Trench Coat
The London Fog Trench Coat is a must-have piece for your wardrobe. Two details I love about this trench coat are that the hood can be removed easily and that this classic design comes with large, thick buttons. With regards to taking care of the trench coat, although I have not washed it yet, it is machine washable. Finally, just like the majority of clothing items that I purchase online, the coat arrived with wrinkles, but it was easy to iron them out. Overall, this is a great trench at a reasonable and affordable price.
This London Fog Double-Breasted Hooded Trench Coat measures approximately 38″ long from center back to hem. The trench coat has a removable hood, two pockets at the waist, and a removable belt. The petite version of this coat comes in two colors (British Khaki and Dawn) and measures approximately 36″ long from center back to hem. See the petite version of the trench coat here. For reference, I am wearing a regular size S. The trench coat fits loosely on me, but once the weather cools down, it will be perfect to wear over a chunky sweater.

Is the London Fog Trench worth the price?
This classic trench coat is less than two hundred and fifty dollars. If you are looking for a high-quality staple piece at an affordable price, I highly recommend adding it to your wardrobe. Would I purchase this trench coat again? Yes! I would get another one in burgundy or black!
I purchased my London Fog trench coat at Macy’s. If you would like a London Fog trench coat, Macy’s currently has this trench coat fully stocked in sizes ranging from XXS to XXL, in many beautiful colors. To see all colors, click here. If the color you want happens to be sold out, check online at Macy’s frequently. Although the British Khaki color sells out the fastest, I’ve seen that it comes back in stock regularly! If you see it in your size, grab it!

Guide: The Guggenheim Museum in New York
As an art lover who lives in New York, you’re in the right place to discover the Guggenheim Museum in New York City.
In today’s article, I am sharing museum details, a list of current and future exhibitions, and photos I’ve taken during my visits.
Guggenheim Museum in New York
There are only four Guggenheim Museums in the world, and one is right here in New York City! The other three museums are in Bilbao, Venice, and Abu Dhabi.
This iconic building, initially controversial for its unusual shape, was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. It consists of a six-story, bowl-shaped main gallery to the south, a four-story “monitor” to the north, and a ten-story annex to the northeast. The museum’s building took 15 years to design and build and was completed in 1959.
The Guggenheim Museum is located at 1071 Fifth Avenue on the corner of East 89th Street on the Upper East Side of Manhattan of New York City.
What to see at the Guggenheim Museum in New York
Current Exhibitions at the Guggenheim (2025):
- Thannhauser Collection: This exhibition contains Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, and modern French masterpieces from the Guggenheim’s collection, including works by Degas, Manet, and Van Gogh.
- Rashid Johnson: A Poem for Deep Thinkers: This exhibition features around 90 of Jonhson’s works in the museum’s rotunda from April 18 until January 18, 2026.
Upcoming Exhibitions:
- A Year With Children 2025. This exhibition opens on May 9, 2025, and will showcase works created by students participating in the Guggenheim’s artist-in-residence program, Learning Through Art, until June 15, 2025.
- Collection in Focus | Faith Ringgold. This exhibition opens on May 9, 2025, and will explore Ringgold’s Woman on a Bridge #1 of 5: Tar Beach, alongside a selection of modern works from the museum’s collection, until September 14, 2025.
- Gabriele Münter: Into Deep Waters. This exhibition opens November 7, 2025, and will explore sixty paintings to illuminate Münter’s experimental practice until April 26, 2026.
Admission Tickets:
Adults $30.00, Seniors $19.00, Students $19.00, and Children under 12 can visit the museum for free. Visitors with disabilities are $19.00, and Caregivers are free.

Pay What You Wish hours are available every Saturday from 5 PM to 8 PM.
- Advance tickets for Pay-What-You-Wish hours are released on Mondays at 12 PM.

- Tickets are nonrefundable and cannot be rescheduled.
