If you have been waiting to shop during Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale – your BIG DAY is just around the corner. Many of you probably know that I am referring to Wednesday, August 19th, when everyone will have access to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Today I am rounding up my favorite cozy shoes to buy during this year’s sale. I have my eyes on the rain boots and the lace-up booties – I wish I had purchased them as soon as we moved to New York!

Today, I’m covering one of the most popular parts of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year: loungewear & sleepwear! We have all been living in cozy and comfortable pieces since March, that is why I rounded up my favorite pieces for women / men that are under $ 30, $ 40 and $ 50. I also included a few items that have a higher price tag (i.e., robes), but that are totally worth getting right now, rather than at full price once the sale ends.

Today I’m sharing my top picks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. The sale goes public on August 19th so I will keep adding my favorites here! I’m so excited to shop the sale this year, since we are living in New York I can enjoy wearing coats, sweaters and boots that I rarely got to wear in Miami. Last year I was not really prepared for Fall & Winter, that’s why I’m so glad that such a big sale is going on right now at Nordstrom!
Take a look at my top picks (for women, men & home) from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. All of these items will no longer be on sale after the end of the month, so why not save now? Take advantage of the sale and stock up on these fall items – many are SOOO GOOD!!

Yesterday my fiancé and I celebrated eleven months in New York City (already?!). Time flies even during a pandemic, and now it’s official – I’ve experienced all four seasons since moving from the Sunshine State to the Big Apple last September.
While I was convinced that I would miss Florida’s tropical weather, that has not been the case… You might ask: how come? Because the forecast has read 90+ degrees more times than I had anticipated.
One of the silver linings of this unprecedented “summer in quarantine” has been spending time with him. I’ve mentioned before that during our relationship, we did about a year of long-distance while he finished his master’s degree. Now, after spending the last four months sheltering together inside our apartment, I can honestly say that I prefer this over not seeing him for weeks at a time!
With gatherings limited and travel restricted, we got creative: we cooked my favorite recipes more, ordered take-out once a week (mostly Thai or Greek food!), enjoyed cocktails on the terrace (almost every night), rode bikes around Central Park, watched tons of Netflix series (we both enjoyed “The Spy” and “Unauthorized Living”), took the pups on longer walks, and handled lots of wedding tasks.
I appreciate the conscious process of slowing down daily, and of admiring the beauty around me (something that I credit my older dog for teaching me more than seven years ago). The free time that we’ve been gifted with during this pandemic, has allowed me to practice more of that. And just because Summer 2020 has been different in more ways than one, it doesn’t mean we can’t get creative and do more of what we love.
I hope you and your family are staying safe during this time. Lots of love… Xx

All the heart eyes for this dress!
Ruffle Midi Dress | White Heel | Rose Gold Necklace | Rose Gold Cuff

Earlier this month, I was browsing online for blue summer outfits for an upcoming trip that we have, and came across this open-back blue dress, and this ruffle midi dress. Although both have the perfect length and shade of blue, I ended up choosing the latter.
I like how the ruffles continue to the back – it makes the dress super attractive. Because this dress is not formfitting, I have a feeling that I will be wearing it more. I am wearing an XS here, and it fits very well, but I am thinking that I might shorten the adjustable straps in the back a little bit (an easy fix). Which of these two dresses would you have chosen for yourself?

How are you all doing?! We spent the weekend in Connecticut and Rhode Island. We loved being outside of New York City for a few days, relaxing and exploring with our two pups! One of my favorite parts of the trip was visiting a small farm filled with sunflowers!
I am wearing a yellow checkered Song of Style Midi Dress for a chic summer look.

Happy Thursday!! Even though this 4th of July will be a little different, we can still wear a red, white and blue bathing suits! Last year we spent the holiday with my fiancé’s family, his aunt did a big cookout at her home, and many of his aunts, uncles and cousins visited during the day. She has a pretty cool set-up outside by the pool, with a tiki bar, outside bar and TV!
This year we will quarantine ourselves, grill outside on the terrace around sunset, and try to get ahead on some of our wedding planning tasks (he needs a tux!).

I am obsessed with the details on this bathing suit! I ordered this one-piece swimsuit to wear on 4th of July, as well as a basic straw hat to protect my face from the sun!
I feel that the style of the red bathing suit is pretty classic and timeless, so I know that I will be wearing it in the future.

Hope you stay safe this 4th of July holiday…
