MINI SKIRTS, YES.
Got a mini skirt? With zippers?? Year after year mini skirts are one hot trend. Many girls even think that they are the best part of spring… and summer. Aren’t they? They are cute, keep you cool during days with high temperatures, and give every girl extra-long legs. The one that I picked out is a pretty faux suede skirt with an adjustable belt, tons of zippers (in the front and one in the back), and it is under $ 40. As soon as I saw it, I thought: “Come on over to my closet!.” See below how you can easily match it with a striped shirt (which are trendy at the moment). I like to wear mine with solid color tops, or with a white fitted off-the-shoulder blouse.

¿Tienen alguna mini falda? Con cierres? Las mini faldas siempre están de moda. Algunas chicas piensan que son la mejor parte de la primavera … y del verano. ¿No les parece? Son lindas, nos mantienen frescas los días de mucho calor y hasta le alargan las piernas a todas las chicas! Esta que elegí es una bonita falda de gamuza con un cinturón ajustable, varios cierres (tres en la parte delantera y uno en la parte posterior), y cuesta menos de $ 40. Ni bien la ví me encantó y pensé: “¡Te llevo a mi armario!” Vean abajo como se puede combinar con una camisa rayada. Yo la combino con cualquier color sólido o sino, con una blusa blanca, de las que muestran los hombros.

METALLIC OUTFIT IDEA
Hello babes! Today I wanted to share a trend that is always popular – metallics. Sure, we often consider wearing shiny tops for New Year’s Eve or a fancy gala, but I love to wear them in any way, shape, or form… all year round. And when I do, I try to keep the look super sophisticated (which can be tricky when it comes to shiny or sparkly pieces). If you are unsure of how to wear them, below you will find the easiest tips. 😉
HOW TO WEAR THEM
- Pair with clean-lined casual pieces – preferably white or neutral. I tend to buy metallic tops (not bottoms) because it is always easy to find a basic pair of white or black pants to style the top with.
- Stay away from color, to maintain a weightless look.
- Wear with a different texture to avoid looking too flashy! Just like I did above, I mixed my pleated metallic cami with a cotton fitted mini skirt. It’s currently on sale for about $29!
- Try to not overaccessorize! The metallic top, bottom, or dress is already a statement in and of itself, so it is best if you keep the accessories subtle.
- A metallic little handbag can go a long way! If you still do not feel comfortable enough to pull off the metallic clothing trend, you can start by adding a hint of glitter to your outfit with a metallic handbag. To give you some ideas, I linked beautiful mini metallic bags below!
Next time I will wear my metallic top for a night out, I already tried it and it looks great with black skinny jeans, black wide-leg pants, and over a black fitted skirt.
