I know that living in Miami gives me a lot of opportunities to wear this out at night, but if you have a vacation coming up (definitely take this!). This jumpsuit pairs well with a long cardi on top… and it creates a look that is sleek and sophisticated. You can always wear it for a fancy night out…

METALLIC OUTFIT IDEA
Hello babes! Today I wanted to share a trend that is always popular – metallics. Sure, we often consider wearing shiny tops for New Year’s Eve or a fancy gala, but I love to wear them in any way, shape, or form… all year round. And when I do, I try to keep the look super sophisticated (which can be tricky when it comes to shiny or sparkly pieces). If you are unsure of how to wear them, below you will find the easiest tips. 😉
HOW TO WEAR THEM
- Pair with clean-lined casual pieces – preferably white or neutral. I tend to buy metallic tops (not bottoms) because it is always easy to find a basic pair of white or black pants to style the top with.
- Stay away from color, to maintain a weightless look.
- Wear with a different texture to avoid looking too flashy! Just like I did above, I mixed my pleated metallic cami with a cotton fitted mini skirt. It’s currently on sale for about $29!
- Try to not overaccessorize! The metallic top, bottom, or dress is already a statement in and of itself, so it is best if you keep the accessories subtle.
- A metallic little handbag can go a long way! If you still do not feel comfortable enough to pull off the metallic clothing trend, you can start by adding a hint of glitter to your outfit with a metallic handbag. To give you some ideas, I linked beautiful mini metallic bags below!
Next time I will wear my metallic top for a night out, I already tried it and it looks great with black skinny jeans, black wide-leg pants, and over a black fitted skirt.

High Rise Jeans are back! How are you ladies liking the return of the often-called ‘mom jeans‘? They have definitely made a comeback, and after years of wearing low-rise jeans, it can be quite a change!
Although they are high-waist, I liked this pair because it has a narrow leg for a streamlined fit that is the perfect blend of comfortable and chic. The fit to wear this season is this one, it rises above the waist and finishes just above the ankle. It is easy to style for casual looks, I paired mine with a semi-sheer striped high-low shirt and then tied it on the front. My intention was to offset the stiff look the jeans have! (The shirt is now on sale).
In my opinion, it always comes down to this: wear what looks best on your body shape! There are often many trends that I ignore if I feel they aren’t flattering for my body. I am totally okay with doing that!

HOW I STYLE A SEQUIN CAPE BLAZER
Today I am sharing a gorgeous sequin cape blazer that immediately caught my eye at the store. It is a cape that is made for parties, nights out, celebrations, or any outing that you may have during the day where the dress code calls for something casually fancy. For sure it will take your outfit to a whole new level. And I must mention it is super affordable and under $ 35. It is from Forever 21, yet it does not look like it at all.
In order to create contrast and be able to wear it during the daytime, I paired mine with basic white trousers. The result is a chic dressy look that I love! Have you noticed my bag? I’ve been loving this mini cross-body, and if you follow me on Instagram, you probably noticed this too. It just goes well with almost everything!

I’ve been shopping at Zara for almost two decades, it does not matter what country I am living in, I always walk in to check out their latest lookbook. One reason I miss living in Barcelona, Spain is because there you can find one on every single block!
On today’s post I am sharing two pieces from Zara’s newest lookbook: this adorable Faux Leather Strappy Top, and my High Waist Trousers – I love how this outfit turned out – easily one of my favorites! Because the peplum top fits like a crop-top, I felt it would be ideal to pair it with high waist pants.
I would suggest to also style the pants with a silky black blouse, or a sheer long-sleeves black or white blouse – it will look amazing! And if you are into bright colors, you can match the pants to a fuchsia or yellow top. What do you think??
