My grandma used to have incredible knitting abilities, and she showcased them every time a new grandchild was born. Her five children gave her 23 grandchildren (wow!), and for each one of us she made crochet baby booties, newborn baby hats, blankets and outfits. As we grew older, she also would knit us wool scarves, cardigans and sweaters for the cold winter season. I think I still have the two scarves I made with her, one was black and the other blush. The black one I got to wear a lot while living in Paris and Barcelona, there is not much use for them here in Miami!
