We are so grateful to be expecting our second baby in December! Our daughter turned two a few months ago, and I can’t wait to see her as a big sister.
Long-time readers may remember that I had an abdominal myomectomy in 2022. Shortly after surgery, I was told that conceiving would not be easy. Knowing that makes this second pregnancy feel even more like a miracle – one I’m incredibly grateful for.
I’m also the oldest of four, so I grew up surrounded by siblings and always dreamed of having a family of my own. I dreamed of this kind of life long before I knew what it would look like, which makes being here now – with another baby on the way – feel especially meaningful.
And I’m a little relieved that the news is finally out! I started showing much earlier this time around, and keeping this little secret was getting harder. It feels so good to share the joy finally, and to let myself fully celebrate this next chapter with all of you.
