6 Super Healthy Smoothies!

There’s nothing better than doing something positive for your health first thing in the morning, when you arrive home from work, or after your workout!  You can spark your metabolism & satiate your hunger with the absolutely amazing power of natural whole foods.  If you would like to increase the amount of vegetables or fruits that you eat daily / weekly – you will love these quick smoothie recipes -I suggest you try them all!    


2 cups chopped pineapple / 1 banana / 2 cups kale (remove stems) or spinach / 1 cup coconut milk / 1/2 cup water


2 cups chopped cantaloupe / 1 banana / 2-3 chopped carrots / 1 tangerine (optional) / 1/2 tbsp. chopped ginger / 1 cup coconut water or water or almond milk / 2 tbsp flax-seed


1 packet Quaker instant oatmeal / 1 cup cashew milk / 1 banana / 1/2 cup blueberries / 1/2 cup blackberries (optional) / 1/3 cup Greek yogurt / 2 tbsp chia seeds


1 cup chopped strawberries / 1/2 a carrot / 1 handful of spinach / 1 banana / 1/3 of a cucumber / 1 cup soy milk / 2 tbsp flax-seed / add a little cranberry juice


1 banana / 1 handful of spinach / 1 cup blueberries / 2/3 cup plain Greek yogurt / 1/2 cup coconut or almond or soy milk / 1 tbsp honey


1 apple, cored (I do not peel it) / 1.5 cups strawberries / 1 cup almond or cashew or soy milk (I buy all three) / 1/2 cup yogurt (strawberry, plain or vanilla) / 2 tsp honey

These easy to make smoothies are high in vitamins A and C, others contain anti-inflammatory properties, some possess antioxidants, and others help balance the blood-sugar.  I have so many smoothie recipes that I prepare on a weekly basis, these are from these past few weeks.  I hope that this post encourages you to eat more fruits & veggies, feel free to share!  Enjoy & let me know what you think!
