13 Restaurants With Spectacular Views of New York City
In today’s guide, I share a list of excellent restaurants and bars we’ve enjoyed over the last few years. Each spot offers amazing views of New York City and is perfect for celebrating special occasions, a celebration, or a get-together with family or friends.

1. Westlight in Brooklyn
This rooftop cocktail bar is located on the 22nd floor of The William Vale in Brooklyn and is one of the best bars to go to during New York City’s rooftop season.

2. L’Avenue at Saks
L’Avenue has brought the Parisian experience to Saks Fifth Avenue‘s New York flagship store. You will find this spot, designed by renowned architect Philippe Starck, in Midtown Manhattan. If you make a reservation during the holiday season, you’ll be able to see the Christmas tree and skating rink at Rockefeller Center, see my photo above!

3. The Fulton at Seaport District
The Fulton, a restaurant by world-renowned Chef Jean-Georges, is spacious and offers indoor and outdoor seating overlooking Brooklyn Bridge.

4. Manhatta Bar in Lower Manhattan
Sky-high views and amazing cocktails are what you will find at Manhatta Bar.

5. Electric Lemon at Hudson Yards
Electric Lemon is an American restaurant located on the 24th floor of the Equinox Hotel with great service, music, atmosphere, and food – we always enjoy it. This spot has a large terrace and plenty of seating options indoors.

6. Mo Lounge at Mandarin Oriental
What’s not to love about an elevated dining experience with views of Central Park and the Manhattan skyline at the Mandarin Oriental in New York?

7. Queensyard at Hudson Yards
You will find Queensyard restaurant on the 4th floor of The Shops of Hudson Yards, with a dramatic backdrop of Thomas Heatherwicks’ architectural structure, The Vessel.

8. Panorama Room on Roosevelt Island
A rooftop lounge with modern vibes that serves small plates and cocktails, along with outstanding panoramic views of the city.

You can arrive at Roosevelt Island’s Panorama Room by subway, bus, or car, but if you take the tram or ferry, you will enjoy some of the best views of New York City.
9. The Skylark in Midtown
This cocktail lounge is 30 floors above Midtown Manhattan and offers bar bites and great views!

10. Ophelia
This rooftop lounge is on the 26th floor of Manhattan’s historic Beekman Tower and offers beautiful East River views.

11. Celestine in Brooklyn
A casual and laid-back Mediterranean restaurant offering Middle Eastern dishes, wine, cocktails, and views of both Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridge.

12. Malibu Farm at Seaport District
Malibu Farm is a relaxed restaurant from Chef Helene Henderson on the waterfront at Pier 17, overlooking Brooklyn Bridge. We come here often to enjoy farm-to-table dining!

13. Central Park Boathouse
New York City’s iconic Central Park Boathouse has been beautifully restored and is open again! At this spot, you can enjoy a peaceful and serene lunch by the lake in the park.
After closing in December 2022, it re-opened in March 2024 and we dined here in August 2024. Enter the park via the park’s entrance on East 72nd St., and walk 9 minutes to the boathouse.
