If you want to look chic during the weekend, then a white on white basic combo will easily do the trick. I paired dressy white shorts with a sheer sleeveless blouse. Have you noticed the adorable shoes?? I must state that these BP Spring Wedges are incredibly comfortable! (A birthday present from my sister recently. I highly recommend them if you are looking for height & comfort).
And I hope that everyone enjoyed the long weekend!!! – it was crazy hot around here, the real feel temperature in Miami Beach was over 100 degrees! I am happy that I got to enjoy a 4th of July lunch with my family, some beach time, a little bit of going out, and lotssss of rest! 🙂

SPRING WEDGES
I have rounded up eight wedges for Spring that are super cute and will look great with casuals, semi-casuals, formals, and semi-formals. There is something about wedges that I love, not only do they give women a few extra inches, they offer comfort and balance to your feet! Those that have the platform right under the toe area will definitely be very comfortable.
This Spring season wedges are leading the ways of fashion, and they come in all styles, patterns, heights, colors and textures. Wedges can be worn with skirts, jeans, dresses, shorts, almost anything. Different styles certainly have different visual effects. Above you can see that I selected: nude / beige / brown / metallic colors, because you can get (a lot!) more use out of neutrals. Enjoy your Spring looks with these wedges of the season!!

Casual Chic in Jeans, Sweater & Silk Scarves

Casual Chic & Silk Scarves
I grew up observing my ultra-elegant & glamorous grandma wearing silk scarves every single season of the year. My mother has her own collection as well, and that’s how I developed my appreciation and love for them. Silk scarves have a way of adding a chic element to almost any outfit. Silk scarves come in all sizes, the tiny ones I usually wrap around my neck, and the large ones you can fold in half and spread over your shoulders like in the outfit that I am sharing today.
Notice that I am wearing regular jeans and a plain-colored v-neck sweater (such a basic combo!), but now this simple outfit looks more sophisticated. It’s always best to wear clothing that has colors that match your scarf. My scarf has navy blue, brown, and creme tones, so in order to bring those colors out I chose jeans that are the same blue tone, brown wedges, and a creme-colored sweater. Voila! Hope this post inspired you to add a silk scarf to any of your outfits! If you have not worn one before, just give it a try! Be sure to match it properly for a chic and polished look!
