…Bridal Robes to Wear Before you Say “I Do”
Planning, scheduling, and rescheduling our wedding during a pandemic was quite something!
As I slowly get back to the post-wedding norm here in New York City, I am excited to bring my wedding-related posts back up!
There is so much that I want to share, so today I am starting with what I wore while getting ready. What you wear while surrounded by your favorite girls, is something that you’ll remember forever!
If you are planning to have these ‘behind-the-scene’ moments documented by your photographer and videographer be sure to wear something extra special. A lace-trim robe will make for a pretty photo op, especially when it comes to the classic champagne toast shot.

How I Like To Wear Tiered Ruffle Skirts!

I hope that you all enjoyed the long weekend!! On Sunday we went to Brooklyn for the first time since March, it seems like an eternity has passed, but as stores and restaurants are slowly opening up (at reduced capacity), we felt more comfortable doing so. We took the pups with us and had brunch outside by the bridge, the weather was so perfect. We decided to leave around noon when it started to get crowded.
We are already talking about going apple picking in upstate New York, I am craving apple cider donuts & homemade jam! Last September we brought back so many apples that we ended up doing a bake-off at home. Each of us had to make the best version of an apple pie. It was so much fun! 🙂
It is no secret that I love wearing skirts, and tiered ruffle skirts happen to be one of my favorite styles to wear. Women can’t have too many skirts, in my opinion! Today I wanted to share this gorgeous and feminine tiered skirt also available in a subtle animal print (for those of you who prefer to wear darker tones).

When I first started my blog, I intended to create a space where I could unveil the creativity of haute-couture designers from around the world, on a weekly basis. Due to my Italian and Spanish roots, I have an affinity for designers with whom I share the same heritage and I love sharing them with you!
While living in Spain, I was captivated by Barcelona-based designers Menchen Tomas, Justicia Ruano & Celia Vela, all of whom are extraordinary designers.
Back then the concept of a ‘fashion blogger’ was rapidly gaining momentum, but it wasn’t until a few years later that I decided to start sharing my personal discoveries in style, beauty, and home decor.
So in today’s Discovering Designers post I share with you a fabulous Italian brand that I discovered recently. I am so happy to continue with one of the original intents of my blog – showcasing those international designers that I currently have my eye on!
MVP Wardrobe was established by designer Maria Vittoria Paolillo, whose dream was to create a colorful wardrobe that is refreshed and renewed monthly. Her designs are vibrant, feminine, and fun. I can’t wait for our next vacation so that I can wear this adorable dress!
Her collections are inspired by all the young women who are courageously pursuing their goals while respecting everyone they encounter along the way. Prior to living in New York City, I lived in a condo by the ocean in Miami Beach. Walking my dogs by the ocean daily brought me so much peace. My apartment unit had beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean, so every morning I’d open the windows and listen to the sound of the waves in the distance. At that time, my home was primarily decorated in white, blue and golden tones. Home decor in blue or light blue will forever remind me of those years living by the sea. And you?
