HOUNDSTOOTH: THE PATTERN YOU NEED THIS SEASON
Is Houndstooth in style?
Yes, houndstooth is still fashionable! I truly love wearing this black and white pattern year-round, but especially during the holidays. I bought this textured houndstooth jacket recently, and I think it looks amazing when paired with an all-black outfit. To create this look I styled the jacket with these faux leather pants that have been my go-to lately – they are comfy, stretchy, and fabulous. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve worn them!
The jacket has pronounced shoulders, front welt pockets with metallic buttons, and it closes in the front with a hook. In my opinion, it runs a bit small, so I sized up one size.
The best part about this houndstooth jacket is that you can get it for less than $100. The jacket is fully stocked, because it was just released, but I suspect that it will sell out fast. I plan to style it over a simple black midi dress, and over ivory trousers. You could totally create a business casual outfit with it too! What do you think of this look??

During Fall & Winter, I like to pair my pleated skirts with thin turtleneck sweaters, and knee-high boots. This is a combination that you can’t go wrong with.

My Classic Capsule Wardrobe is finally here! Today I am sharing a selection of timeless pieces that will forever be in style. Every item that I’ve selected is beige, brown, tan, or green so that you can easily mix and match them with clothes that you already own. I love having lots of neutral pieces in my closet because they help me get dressed quickly every day! You will enjoy wearing these classic pieces year after year!
