Ivory Pleated Skirt + Tan Turtleneck Sweater for Fall

PLEATED SKIRTS DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON
What To Wear on Thanksgiving Day
Today I am sharing a classic ensemble that is easy to recreate year-round. I am so in love with this look! When I think of pleated skirts, two words come to mind: elegance and ease.
During Fall & Winter, I like to pair my pleated skirts with thin turtleneck sweaters, and knee-high boots. This is a combination that you can’t go wrong with.
If you are searching for Thanksgiving outfit ideas, a pleated skirt is a lovely option! What do you think?!

Cozy Neutral Pieces Starting at $35

COZY NEUTRAL PIECES STARTING AT $35
I never thought I’d be sharing so many coats, knits & sweaters on my blog! But then again, back when I started my blog, I did not envision myself leaving my Miami Beach condo behind, and making New York City’s skyrises my permanent home. It’s taken me two years to understand the concept of finding the perfect “layers” to wear under my coats and winter jackets.
So as I approach my third winter in New York (did I just say that?!), cozy (and shall I add, comfort) is becoming the most important factor to me.
With that, I wanted to share a few cozy neutrals that I found starting at $35. They are all in beige or brown, so that you can easily mix and match with everything in your closet.
Whether you are lounging at home, back in the office, or taking business calls from home via Zoom, you will love these easy-to-wear neutral pieces.
- Knit Dress in brown ($49.99)
- Tie-Belt Coat in taupe or brown ($59.99)
- Collared Sweatshirt Dress ($19.99)
- Rib-Knit Half Zip Sweater ($49.99)
- Ribbed Mock Turtleneck Sweater in taupe or grey ($34.99)
- Tie-Belt Puffer Vest ($34.99)
If you are looking for a cashmere scarf for less than $100, try this one!

6 Gossip Girl Locations in New York City | Self-Guided Gossip Girl Tour

SHOP OUTFIT DETAILS
Hello Upper East Siders. If you’re a fan of Gossip Girl, then I bet that every episode you’ve watched has made you want to spend more time in New York City.
Today I’m going to share the inside scoop on where to find the six hottest sites that were featured in the incredibly popular series Gossip Girl. I’ve also included the exact location of each site and a self-guided Gossip Girl tour at the bottom of this post.
Gossip Girl Locations in New York City
1 THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART

Let’s begin with the most iconic Gossip Girl spot of all, the stairs of The Metropolitan Museum. This is the spot where Blair Waldorf often has lunch with her friends. This museum is a must-see for Gossip Girl fans.
Location: Metropolitan Museum of Art, 1000 5th Ave., New York, NY 10028
See my complete guide to The MET MUSEUM here.
2 GRAND CENTRAL STATION

Grand Central is a work of art, and where we first meet Serena van der Woodsen.
The terminal opened to the public on February 2, 1913, and is a world-famous landmark and transportation hub in Midtown Manhattan. Once inside, look up and admire the ceiling, the centerpiece of the Main Concourse features the 12 zodiac constellations. Order a cocktail at the Campbell Apartment that was featured in the pilot episode.
Location: Grand Central Terminal, 89 E 42nd St., New York, NY 10017
3 THE NEW YORK PALACE HOTEL
The New York Palace was home to Serena, Eric, & Lily Van Der Woodsen.
This 5-star hotel combines old-world elegance with new modern-day style and is located behind Saint Patrick’s Cathedral. You can find this spot on the corner of 50th Street and Madison Avenue.
*This is the hotel where I stayed with my family during my wedding weekend. The hotel is beautiful, offers excellent service, and is within walking distance from Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and 5th Avenue.
Location: Lotte New York Palace, 455 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10022
BOOK: A room at The Palace Hotel here.
4 THE PLAZA HOTEL

The Plaza Hotel is the iconic location where Chuck Bass finally said “I love you” to Blair Waldorf at the end of Season 2.
Location: 768 5th Avenue, New York, NY 10019
BOOK: A room at The Plaza Hotel here.
5 BETHESDA TERRACE AT CENTRAL PARK
Bethesda Terrace is probably one of my favorite spots in Central Park, where Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass got married.
The fountain, with its Angel of the Waters statue, is located in the center of the terrace. Be sure to spend some time walking around Bethesda Terrace & Fountain next time you visit Central Park.
Location: Bethesda Fountain, 72 Terrace Dr., New York, NY 10021
6 THE EMPIRE HOTEL
The Empire Hotel is located across the street from the Lincoln Center.
Head up to the Empire Rooftop to check out the views of the city from above. Chuck Bass tried to obtain ownership of this hotel in Season 3.
Location: Empire Hotel, 44 W 63rd St., New York, NY 10023
BOOK: A room at The Empire Hotel here.

On a different day, you can hop on the subway and make your way to DUMBO Brooklyn, and check out the exterior of the Humphrey Loft on Water Street. From this location, 455 Water St, Brooklyn, you will see impressive views of the Manhattan Bridge and the Empire State Building.
I always love walking around DUMBO, grabbing pizza at Juliana’s, or coffee at Arabica.

How is the weather where you live? New York City is already experiencing temperatures in the low 50s, so I figured it would be a great time to share ten neutral winter coats for women, all under $250.00 dollars. I included an additional coat that was $399.99, but is now $279.99 and the beige color is beautiful.
At the time of posting this article, the coats are available in every size, but due to the sale, I have a feeling the coats will start disappearing very fast. If you find one that you love, grab it!
